Tanya put on a life-changing class for my partner and I who have been trying to cook authentic Indian for over a decade. (We attended the South Indian Class)
Our senses went into overdrive as soon as we smelt the spice blends come to life. Tanya used the freshest & finest seafood for the love-at-first-taste fish curry and wowed us with her delicious vegetarian dishes. Highly recommend this class to ANY foodie.

10 STARS WOW. This is Melbourne's best cooking class hands-down! I highly recommend Heavenly Morsel cooking classes to anyone wanting to learn real Indian food. My favourite class is the Seafood masterclass as we learned how to cook everything from fish, to prawns with side dishes and a wonderful rice dish. Tanya's biryani is the most authentic one I have had in Australia. The recipes we learned are cooked in my house every week - this was the best value cooking class I've ever seen.
I would recommend her cooking classes to all. Her masterclasses are very inclusive of all diets be it fodmap, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, or seafood and meat-lovers.

I attended the Seafood Masterclass in May 2021. It was a birthday gift for my best friend. The class with Tanya was outstanding. I was very pleased to have shared this experience with my best friend. The aesthetic of the environment was very pleasing, from the immaculate kitchen to the surrounding living area. Tanya sourced the best and freshest seafood for this class which we all enjoyed after the class. We even got to take home leftovers. Tanya was professional , friendly and very passionate about her cooking which was evident in the excellent masterclass that she ran. She was well prepared and even went the extra mile to add a little extra as a birthday surprise for my friend. I will definitely be attending another class. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

This was the BEST cooking class I have ever taken in my life! 
Thank you so much for giving us an experience to remember, I am still dreaming about your grandmother's fish curry and fish fry. I have NEVER tasted food like this, or cooked with such fancy seafood. 
I cannot believe the amount of food, wine & spoiling we received for the price of the class. I didn't want the class to end!

From the moment we walked in to Tanya's breathtaking house and well set up kitchen, we knew this was going to be a memorable class. Everything was so well planned!

North Indian food is so much better the Tanya way!
We were greeted with recipe folders, fancy aprons and a gourmet cheeseboard with artisanal goodies. 
Tanya is extremely knowledgeable about her cuisine history and dishes. We felt as if we were on a culinary trip to India- with all of our senses activated and drooling! I cannot pick a favorite dish - everything was AMAZING!

The Low FODMAP Class was excellent. The space was very warm and inviting, and lovely to work in. Tanya was a great teacher, very patient, and offered a lot of helpful tips and insights.

 

The class was customised for individual guests, and was very accomodating of our dietary requirements. The food was delicious, and Tanya built up my confidence, so I feel like I can continue to make the dishes on my own at home now.

Tanya's class offers something that isn't offered anywhere else, and has expanded my skillset in the kitchen. I'd highly recommended it .

I attended a private Biryani Masterclass in Tanya's stunning home, which was an annivesary gift from my husband! This was the best Biryani I've ever had, it tasted so different compared to anything I've ever eaten & the side dishes made me salivate even more.. 
I feel so priviledged to have Tanya's secret family recipe, which involved roasting over 13 spices for the base blend! We went through every step of the process and learned just how meticulous and skilled making this dish is.
We even got to take home our masterpiece for our kids to taste.

Tanya most certainly lives up to her title "The Queen of Seafood"!

My wife and I attended this outstanding Seafood Masterclass where we prepared the most succulent tandoori grilled prawns that were the size of my forearm!

Don't get me started on the Fish Curry and Fish Fry! We still can't stop thinking about the dishes..

Tanya sourced the finest premium species of fish and prawns, varieties that we would never purchase on our own

This was the most memorable class I have ever attended. Mouthwatering.

Incredible explanation of the culinary regions in India , along with the properties of each ingredient and correct uses etc. 

LIFECHANGING tips on cooking various items , I could not believe the difference in taste + quality using Tanya's guidance vs recipes off the internet.

I did the North Indian Class and South Indian Class & I honestly cannot pick which one I liked better .

The kitchen looks like it is out of a Vogue Home Magazine and is kept sparkling clean ! 

A beautiful soul & a wonderful cooking teacher , I give Heavenly Morsel 6 STARS OUT OF 5.

I attended a Low-FODMAP class that Tanya altered to create a vegan low-FODMAP alternative. I’m glad I saw her post on Instagram, as I have never heard of a class that offers both of those.

I loved every moment. Tanya is very welcoming and warm, and you’ll feel right at home with her and her kitchen.

Everything is really organised, and fun, and as it’s for small groups only, you really get to immerse yourself in the food (both making it, and eating it), and learn from practice rather than just watching.

I never thought I’d be able to make okra (or enjoy it), but it was incredible, and I actually feel confident enough to make it myself now.

Thank you very much Tanya for offering us a vegan low-fodmap class, and not just having both vegan and meat options. It really made us feel so comfortable, and you made everything relevant to us, and our values.

We will definitely be back for round two once we have tested these recipes with our friends.

Tanyas cooking class was absolutely amazing. The class was extremely well organised and professional.

From the very beginning Tanya set the scene by explaining what part of Indian each dish we were about to cook came from.

We got to prepare and cook all our recipes and Tanya was a perfect teacher to guide us through our Indian Cooking Extravaganza, in a very relaxed atmosphere.
